Daftar Pemenang Oscar 2023, Aktris Terbaik Michelle Yeoh, Aktor Terbaik Brendan Fraser

LOS ANGELES, KOMPAS.TV - Daftar pemenang penghargaan Oscar 2023 atau Academy Awards ke-95 telah selesai dilaksanakan, Senin (13/3/2023).

Film Terbaik dalam penghargaan sinema bergengsi Oscar 2023 kali ini diraih film "Everything Everywhere All at Once" mengalahkan "Top Gun: Maverick", "Avatar: The Way of Water" dan lainnya.

Adapun piala Aktris Terbaik Oscar 2023 diberikan kepada Michelle Yeoh, sekaligus menjadikannya sebagai aktris Asia pertama yang mendapat penghargaan tersebut.

"Para perempuan, jangan biarkan ada orang yang memberitahu Anda bahwa Anda sudah melewati masa jaya Anda," kata aktris asal Malaysia itu.

"Sejarah telah dibuat," ujarnya.

Sementara itu, predikat Aktor Terbaik Oscar 2023 diberikan kepada Brendan Fraser setelah meraih kemenangan aktor terbaik di penghargaan SAG dan Critics Choice Awards.

Peran Fraser dalam film "The Wale" menandai peran utama pertamanya usai 12 tahun. Transformasi Fraser di layar adalah hasil dari prostetik berat, yang dia akui sebagai "tantangan", secara fisik dan emosional.
